Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to lift and move heavy loads across multiple industries. You will operate cranes ranging from boom trucks to larger 600-ton equipment and support rigging, assembly, and heavy haul projects.

This is a permanent, full‑time on‑site role with local work across plants and wind farms. Expect 40+ hours weekly, potential overtime, a weekly pay schedule, and benefits after the introductory period focused on safety, teamwork, and reliability.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A is required.
• NCCCO certification(s) required.
• Strong commitment to safety and clear on-site communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes ranging from boom trucks to 600-ton equipment.
• Perform daily lifting operations, primarily running cranes.
• Support crane assembly, rigging, and heavy haul projects.
• Work across plants, wind farms, and local taxi jobs.
• Assist with transport operations including trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment.
• Help ensure safe lifting through load control and communication with rigging crews.
