Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of relevant technical experience in air defense components, missiles, radar, or MS&S.
• Active security clearance (Top Secret preferred) or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assess air defense capability gaps and technology needs and requirements.
• Conduct comparative analyses of candidate systems for feasibility, compatibility, and cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate with government and contractor teams to generate project documentation (plans, strategies, reports).
• Interface with industry vendors on Air and Missile Defense technology development efforts and proposals.
• Plan, track, and report project progress and milestones.
• Provide programmatic support including white papers and executive summaries.
• Present information to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Support Technology Transition Planning for Program of Record insertion.

MSRC is seeking an Air Defense Senior Systems Analyst who believes in our mission and aligns with our values. This individual will support the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) Science and Technology (S&T) Portfolio. The selected candidate will provide:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Air Defense capability gap, technology needs, and requirements assessments.


• Comparative analysis of candidate systems, components, and approaches for technical feasibility, compatibility, and cost effectiveness.


• Coordination with government and contractor team members to generate project documentation, including strategies, plans, and reports.


• Interface with numerous industry vendors on Air and Missile Defense technology development requirements, efforts, and proposals.


• Project planning, tracking, and reporting.


• Programmatic support including white papers, action items, executive summaries, and other quick response tasks.


• Informational and decision briefs for senior leaders.


• Technology Transition Planning for Program of Record insertion.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field


• OR substantial military technical experience

Job Qualifications:

• 8+ years of relevant technical experience (ex: missile component technologies, air defense missile systems, radar technologies, and/or M&S)
  
  
  • RDT&E and/or DoD Program Office support preferred
  
  
  • Army Fires, AMD, or related lab experience preferred
  
  


• Ability to interface with external stakeholders, including numerous project/product offices, Army Senior Leaders, Warfighter representatives, and AvMC team members.


• Ability to produce, present, and action technical and programmatic discussions and meetings for engineers, managers, ranking military, Subject Matter Experts, and Business Development audiences.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Teams.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.


• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment.


• Discernment of and ability to operate with awareness of organizational interests and respect to military, civilian, and corporate chains of command.

Additional Requirements:

• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.


• Candidate must currently possess and be able to maintain an active security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
