Join Our Team as an Employment Specialist at Fred Finch Youth & Family Services

We are seeking an Employment Specialist to support young adults in achieving their vocational and educational goals. The role involves working with participants to develop soft skills, resume building, job searching, and retention support, based on the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model.

Responsibilities include:

1. Job development with employers
2. Job search assistance for participants
3. Supporting participants in maintaining employment and educational pursuits
4. Collaborating with participants to identify vocational interests and develop interpersonal skills

Shifts Available: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm or 9am-5:30pm

Salary Range: $22.55 - $28.78 per hour, based on experience and other factors.

Benefits include: 21 PTO days, 9 holidays, 401k matching up to 6%, $150 monthly stipend, and health care premiums assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.A. degree or equivalent work experience
• Cultural responsiveness and understanding of youth development
• Valid California Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within 10 days
