Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, North Carolina is seeking a Custodian for a 10 or 12 month term. The role supports cleaning and maintenance of the school facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for students and staff.

The position reports to the School Principal, is Non-Exempt, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid NC driver’s license. Starting Jan 4, 2027, the work includes after-hours coverage as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• General knowledge and experience of building cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment and the ability to use them economically and efficiently.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license

Responsabilidades

• Performs cleaning and care of school facilities.
• Maintains cleanliness of restrooms and replenishes supplies.
• Cleans floors, windows, walls, furniture and fixtures.
• Operates cleaning equipment and uses cleaning supplies safely.
• Maintains inventory and procures supplies as needed.
• Opens and secures buildings at the start and end of the day.
• Performs grounds keeping and minor repairs as needed.
• responds to after-hour emergencies and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
