Job summary

i-Pharm GxP is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Lead to support the construction phase of a major pharmaceutical project on a 12-month contract. You will lead site-based quantity measurement and commercial oversight, collaborating with Construction, Contracts and Project Controls to verify progress and maintain cost control.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial/Cost Lead on large-scale industrial, commercial or pharmaceutical construction projects.
• Strong experience in contract administration, progress measurement, payment certification and change management.
• Working knowledge of lump sum, unit rate and cost-reimbursable contracts.
• Familiarity with U.S. construction standards and pharmaceutical/GMP environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and verify installed construction works through site walkdowns and progress reviews.
• Review contractor payment applications against verified progress and contractual terms.
• Evaluate and quantify change orders, variations and claims.
• Maintain quantity records, earned value data, cost reports and commitment logs.
• Resolve commercial issues and invoice discrepancies, ensuring accurate, auditable documentation.
