Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd in the United States is seeking a QS Construction Lead for a major pharma project in Ohio. This 12-month contract role will measure quantities on site, verify contractor payments, and drive commercial performance across the build.

The role requires extensive experience with large-scale industrial or pharmaceutical construction, contract administration, payment certification, and change quantification to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years’ experience as Quantity Surveyor or Commercial/Cost Lead on large-scale projects.
• Experience in contract administration, progress measurement, payment certification, and change quantification.
• Familiarity with US construction standards and GMP regulatory expectations is preferred.

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a QS Construction Lead to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll deliver:

• Measure and verify quantities of completed construction works on site.
• Review and validate contractor applications for payment, ensuring alignment with progress achieved and contractual terms.

What you’ll need:

• Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial/Cost Lead on large-scale industrial, commercial, or pharmaceutical construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience in contract administration, progress measurement, payment certification, and change quantification.
• Strong working knowledge of construction contract forms (e.g., lump sum, unit rate, cost-reimbursable) and commercial administration practices.
• Experience validating contractor payment applications and maintaining earned value and cost reporting records.
• Familiarity with U.S. construction standards and pharmaceutical/GMP regulatory expectations preferred.
