Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd. is seeking a Construction HSE lead in Washington, DC to support large-scale pharma projects on a 12-month contract. You will provide SHE leadership across construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety legislation, site rules, and client requirements.

You will lead audits, incident investigations, and contractor performance reviews, develop dashboards, and drive continuous safety improvements with project teams and site stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in Construction SHE on large-scale pharma or biotech projects.
• Knowledge of construction health and safety legislation and contractor management.
• Experience conducting site audits, inspections, and worker engagement programmes.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide SHE leadership across construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety requirements and site rules.
• Monitor and manage contractor SHE performance through audits and inspections.
• Lead incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
• Develop SHE performance reporting and dashboards to drive continuous safety improvements.
