Job summary

A nonprofit charter school network in Redwood City is seeking a Paraeducator. This role supports academic and behavior needs for individual or small groups of students, helping them thrive in education. Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with academic or behavioral needs preferred.
• Must pass ETS ParaPro Assessment (pass score = 460).
• Must be able to assist physically disabled students.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in small groups or one-to-one as directed.
• Assist in behavior intervention planning and implementation.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to students.

Skills

Ability to learn instructional technology

Bilingual in languages reflecting student populations (preferred)

Strong skills in building relationships

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

A.A. degree or B.A. degree (or 48 units in process)
