Redwood City School District is seeking a Paraeducator Special Education to support a classroom of students with diverse needs. You will assist the certificated teacher, work with small groups, and help implement instructional activities in a structured learning environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with children in organized settings. You will help monitor student behavior and maintain records while fostering a safe, inclusive classroom culture.

Formación

• Graduation from high school and one year of experience working with children in an organized setting.
• Ability to assist a certificated teacher and work with small groups of students.
• Willingness to learn and apply curriculum content for students with special needs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the instruction of students with emotional, educational, physical and/or behavioral problems; support learning activities.
• Provide individual assistance to students and reinforce instruction with small groups.
• Assist with development and presentation of learning materials and manage classroom activities with positive reinforcement.
