Job summary

Seaboard is seeking an Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting. Under supervision, you will assist with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis while learning to use SharePoint, OneStream, UiPath, and Power BI.

We offer a 12-month internship with flexibility around class schedules and a minimum of 20 hours per week during semesters; additional hours may be available during breaks.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with SharePoint/BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with division personnel and external auditors.
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare consolidated schedules for internal and external reporting.
• Learn and support SEC filing processes and financial recordkeeping.
