Job summary

Plante Moran’s RAAS team is looking for a student pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance to support GAAP compliance and financial reporting packages. You will help with liquidity reporting and develop tools/templates for future engagements, collaborating with consultants and clients to drive improvements.

The role emphasizes assisting with ASC standards and building proficiency in Excel, with potential travel and exposure to a broad benefits package as part of this entry-level

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a minor in accounting.
• Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).
• On track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam.
• Detail-oriented leader with problem-solving, communication, critical thinking, organizational, and technical skills.
• Preferred: Proficiency with Excel

Responsibilities

• Evaluating reported financial statements for GAAP compliance and creating standard reporting packages (KPIs, trend analysis).
• Developing liquidity management reporting requirements.
• Developing accounting/finance tools/templates for client engagements.
• Collaborating with consultants and clients for continuous improvement recommendations.
• Assisting with GAAP implementations at client sites (ASC standards).
