Job summary

KIK Consumer Products is hiring a Production Shift Supervisor for our BioLab facility in Westlake, LA. You will supervise 12–15 union operators on a rotating 12-hour schedule, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met while driving continuous improvement with site leadership.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to operate in a 24/7 environment. Training spans 1–2 months of day-shift onboarding before rotation begins.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Union environment experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive safety and production goals.
• Proficiency with Lean manufacturing and problem-solving methods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 12–15 production operators on 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Lead shift execution and troubleshoot issues to maintain performance.
• Run 12-hour shift handoffs and report performance to leadership.
• Ensure safety, GMP compliance, and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Safety teams.
• Mentor and develop employees in a union environment.
