King Plastic Corporation is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee safe and efficient manufacturing of plastics products. You will lead a team, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate staffing while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Relocation is not available for this position. The role requires strong leadership, lean manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to work a 12-hour shift including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production workers, including training new employees and conducting performance evaluations.
• Schedule work assignments and ensure adequate staffing to meet production targets.
• Oversee daily production activities with adherence to schedules, quality, and safety.
• Inspect and monitor processes, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure company standards and specifications.
• Address quality issues with the quality control team to resolve.
• Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements.
• Manage production workflows and adjust schedules to meet demand and minimize downtime.
• Enforce safety procedures and train staff; conduct inspections and address hazards.
• Maintain and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare production reports including performance metrics and inventory levels.
• Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
• Drive metrics like OEE, QA, Safety, and Scrap Rate.
