Job summary

LyondellBasell is hiring a Production Operator in Ohio to monitor and operate plant process equipment, ensuring reliable and quality production. The role involves paperwork, communicating across teams, and assisting with maintenance tasks as needed.

The successful candidate will have at least 6 months in production, the ability to read and interpret documents, and pass pre-employment screenings. Shift options include 1st (7:00 am–3:30 pm) and 2nd (3:00 pm–1:00 am).

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months previous experience in production or manufacturing.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents, write routine correspondence, and speak the English language to effectively communicate with supervisors and other team members.
• Must submit to pre-employment screening including: employment history verification, background check, physical and urine drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot equipment used during daily manufacturing.
• Perform changeovers and disassemble, assemble, and clean machinery.
• Understand and execute daily production run schedules, resolve quality issues, and report any unresolved issues immediately.
