Job summary

LyondellBasell Industries in Conneaut, OH is seeking a Production Operator to monitor and operate plant process equipment. The role involves evaluating unit status, troubleshooting processes, and maintaining communication with team members.

Two shift schedules are offered: 1st shift 7:00 am-3:30 pm, and 2nd shift 3:00 pm-1:00 am, Monday-Thursday. Safe operation is emphasized with strict adherence to safety, PPE, and LOTO procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months previous experience in production or manufacturing position; mechanically inclined preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents, write routine correspondence, and speak the English language to effectively communicate with supervisors and other team members.
• Must submit to pre-employment screening including: employment history verification, background check, physical and urine drug screening.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot equipment used during daily manufacturing.
• Perform changeovers and disassemble, assemble, and clean machinery.
• Understand and execute daily production run schedules, resolve quality issues, and report any unresolved issues immediately.
• Stage packaging area and assist with material handling.
• Follow standard operating and LOTO procedures for all assigned tasks.
• Perform all standard QC tests and accurately record production data.
