Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift assignment in Michigan. The position runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every other weekend included and 36 scheduled hours per week.

The RRT will deliver respiratory care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and support critical care patients with CPAP/BIPAP and other therapies. Requires 2+ years RRT experience and NBRC, ACLS, BLS, NRP certs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RRT experience.
• Certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA), NBRC, ACLS (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Interview, examine, and assess patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Consult with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Create therapy programs for patients based on physician instructions and assessment findings.
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity.
• Treat patients using chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications, and non-invasive methods like CPAP and BIPAP therapies.
• Monitor and maintain respiratory care equipment.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
