Job summary

Trinity Health Livingston Hospital in Brighton, MI is seeking a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for the night shift to deliver advanced respiratory therapies and participate in staff training within our teaching hospital setting.

You will perform procedures per physician orders, ensure equipment safety, participate in rounds, and mentor students while maintaining high quality patient care and adherence to HIPAA, AIDET, and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year Respiratory Therapist program; registry eligible.
• Maintain current RRT credential with NBRC and Michigan license.
• BLS certification required; maintain CPR standards.
• Demonstrated ability to follow physician orders and hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe respiratory therapy practices and alerts leadership to safety concerns.
• Performs duties per AARC guidelines and maintains competencies.
• Participates in patient rounds and reviews treatment plans with medical staff.
• Ensures treatments align with physician orders and approved protocols.
• Keeps equipment in safe operating condition and coordinates maintenance as needed.
• Mentors staff and students, and contributes to training programs.

Two-year advanced practitioner Accredited Respiratory Therapist program

NBRC Registry eligible

Maintain NBRC credential (RRT)

Michigan License in Respiratory Care
