Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. is hiring for a full-time position in Gaylord, Minnesota. The role involves operating and monitoring HTST and CIP systems, handling silos and UHT equipment, and ensuring sanitation and product quality according to USDA standards.

The 12-hour night shift runs from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a focus on safe operation, documentation, and teamwork within a production environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in high and confined spaces following safety procedures.
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate HTST processing system, CIP system and log time, temperature, pressure and flow rates.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor maintenance repairs.
• Coordinate with packaging lead on system status to enable startup of the production line.
• Clean silos, mix room, totes, pumps, UHT press and CIP lines.
• Monitor CIP systems and ensure chemical concentrations meet standards.
• Prepare written reports and maintain logs and records for USDA requirements.
• Blend products using approved mix procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance and uphold food safety and quality standards.
• Adhere to GMPs and sanitary practices and report safety concerns.
