Qualifications

• Duties require decision making regarding solutions to problems not normally encountered.
• 5-7 years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic instruments.
• Must interface and communicate with line operators to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.
• Willing to work 12 Hr. shifts and overtime as required.
• Computer experience/PLC programming is necessary.
• High degree of precision with minimum tolerances.
• Ability to climb in overhead structures, work beneath machines and in tight spaces.
• Must be highly safety conscious; arc flash training completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electrical and mechanical service work across production, tooling support, plant and machine maintenance.
• Collaborate with Participative Work Team on budgeting, scheduling, evaluating and decision making for quality output.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment including PLCs and drives.
• Plan and apply knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles to write specifications and apply electrical codes.
• Install, start up and shut down equipment following safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Advise operators on operation procedures and safety requirements for equipment and components.
• Maintain maintenance records and perform preventive maintenance as directed.
• Diagnose, rebuild and repair equipment and perform diagnostic operations.
• Assist and train other maintenance and technical staff.
• Must provide own tools if required.
