Job summary

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. in Wayland, MI is seeking a Quadcone Blender Operator to join our 2nd shift production team.

You will support the Production team and drive initiatives to improve plant performance, handling tasks such as weighing ingredients and performing basic quality checks. The role requires cross-training in Littleford blending, accurate record keeping, and adherence to GMP, HACCP, LOTO and food safety programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to follow documented instructions and maintain accurate records in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with weight conversions and basic quality checks is required.
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift and perform cross-training in related processes.

Responsibilities

• Weigh ingredients using Metric/US weight systems and ensure accurate records.
• Perform basic quality control tests for the Quadcone department.
• Cross-train in Littleford blending and support production line efficiencies.
• Maintain legible, accurate production records and GMP/HACCP compliance.
• Assist with other duties to meet safety and efficiency targets.

Job Description:

About the Role:

The Quadcone Operator at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Ability to weigh ingredients using Metric/American weight conversion.




• The ability to accurately perform basic Quality Control testing for the Quadcone Department.




• Ability to cross-training in Littleford blending is required.




• Must demonstrate the ability to legibly and accurately complete all associated record keeping necessary for the Pharmaceutical Industry.




• Must be able to maintain or exceed established line efficiencies.




• Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by Bay Valley Foods.




• Perform other duties as assigned.

Important Details:

This is a full-time position on 2nd shift, working Monday thru Friday.

• 2nd shift operates 4pm to 12am

Shift differential included for 2nd and 3rd shift.
