Job summary

Actikare is hiring immediately in Woodinville for caregiver roles (HCA/CNA) to support seniors at home. Shifts 10A-2PM. You will provide companionship, assist with mobility and daily living tasks, light housekeeping and meal prep, and report concerns.

Must have Washington CNA or HCA certification, valid driver’s license, US work authorization, and pass background checks; reliable, punctual, and compassionate bedside manner is essential.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA certification in WA is required or in training.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• U.S. work authorization.
• Ability to pass background/fingerprint checks.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions in English.
• Reliable and punctual with strong bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility inside/outside the home.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and daily living tasks.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Prepare for clients and assist with appointments.
• Report incidents to agency, professionals, and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements:

• ActiveCNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program
• Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
