Job summary

Actikare Responsive In Home Care is actively seeking compassionate caregivers, CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants), or HCAs (Home Care Aides) with experience caring for seniors to join our team in Lynnwood. HIRING IMMEDIATELY for weekday shifts; must be a licensed and insured driver.

As part of our award-winning in-home care program, you will provide companionship, assist with mobility and daily living tasks, and help maintain clients' independence in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington or proof of completion or enrollment in training program
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• US work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
