Job summary

Superior Contracting is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician / Residential Service Technician as a 1099 contractor. You will handle repairs, installations, and upkeep across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman tasks in local client properties.

The role offers flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time) and requires you to own tools and a suitable vehicle. EPA certification for HVAC work is preferred, with on-going portal updates and direct deposit payments.

Qualifications

• Must own a truck, van, or SUV with space for tools.
• Own tools and be comfortable working independently.
• EPA HVAC certification required for HVAC work.
• General Liability Insurance (COI) required.
• W9 with valid Tax ID.
• Onboarding and portal training completed before receiving work orders.
• 3+ years of experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, maintenance, or related trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and installations in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and general handyman services.
• Diagnose issues and provide efficient repair solutions.
• Follow local safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain communication with the Superior team throughout each project.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, maintenance, or related trades
• Ability to lift and handle tools, materials, and equipment as needed
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Comfortable using online portal systems for work orders and updates

Required Qualifications

• HVAC technicians must hold EPA certification
• General Liability Insurance required (COI must be provided)
• W9 with valid Tax ID required
• Completion of onboarding and portal training required prior to receiving work orders
