Job summary

Superior Contracting & Maintenance is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician / Residential Service Technician who can operate as a 1099 contractor in the Fort Worth area. You will perform repairs, maintenance and installations across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliances and general handyman tasks.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• EPA certification for HVAC technicians.
• General Liability Insurance (COI) required.
• W9 with valid Tax ID.
• Onboarding and portal training completed before work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and installations in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and general handyman services.
• Diagnose issues and provide efficient repair solutions.
• Follow local safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain communication with the Superior team throughout each project.

• Must own a truck, van, or SUV capable of transporting tools and materials
• Must have your own tools and be comfortable working independently
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, maintenance, or related trades
• Ability to lift and handle tools, materials, and equipment as needed
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Comfortable using online portal systems for work orders and updates

Required Qualifications

• HVAC technicians must hold EPA certification
