Job summary

Hyundai Translead, part of Hyundai AutoEver America, seeks a Sr. Business Process Analyst SAP PP/MM to run and optimize Production Planning & Materials Management for the Joliet plant.

You will implement, maintain, and support PP/MM across ECC and S/4HANA, collaborating with plant ops, supply chain, and finance, and coordinating with Korea HQ and U.S. teams to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 8+ years hands-on SAP PP/MM configuration and support.
• 2+ full life-cycle SAP project implementations, ideally including S/4HANA.
• REM experience is required; automotive/discrete manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SAP PP/MM solutions using standard functionality and CBO programs.
• Lead REM design, configuration, and support including run schedules and reporting points.
• Manage production planning across material master, BOMs, routings, work centers, MRP, and capacity planning.
• Support procurement and inventory processes: POs, release strategies, goods movements, stock transfers.
• Ensure end-to-end integration between PP/MM and FI/CO, SD, QM, WM/EWM; interface to MES/shop floor systems.
• Support new plant rollouts and S/4HANA migration from data readiness to hypercare.
• Identify root causes of SAP issues and resolve production-critical incidents.
• Collaborate globally with Hyundai AutoEver Korea and America teams.

About the Role

Hyundai Translead is looking for an experienced SAP PP/MM professional to run the manufacturing and supply chain systems behind our plant operations, including our new Joliet, IL plant. You'll implement, maintain, and support our Production Planning and Materials Management landscape across SAP ECC and S/4HANA. You'll work closely with plant operations, supply chain, and finance, and with our Korea HQ and America teams, to keep production running smoothly. What You'll Do

• Deliver SAP solutions using standard PP/MM functionality and Custom Business Objects (CBO) programs to support plant operations.
• Lead Repetitive Manufacturing (REM) design, configuration, and support. This covers REM profiles, run schedules, planning, backflushing, reporting points, pull lists, and postprocessing.
• Manage production planning across material master, BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, MRP, demand management, and capacity planning.
• Support procurement and inventory, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, release strategies, source lists, info records, goods movements, stock transfers, subcontracting, and physical inventory.
• Make sure integration works end to end between PP/MM and FI/CO, SD, QM, and WM/EWM, including product cost collectors and period-end activities in partnership with Controlling.
• Support new plant rollouts and S/4HANA migration, covering master data readiness, data migration, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
• Find root causes of persistent or complex SAP application issues and fix them, with special focus on production-critical incidents.
• Collaborate globally with Hyundai AutoEver Korea and America teams to agree on solutions and best practices.

What You'll Bring

Education

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field), or equivalent work experience.

Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP PP/MM functional configuration and support.
• 2+ full life-cycle SAP project implementations, ideally including at least one S/4HANA implementation or migration.
• Repetitive Manufacturing (REM) experience is a must.
• Experience in automotive, trailer, or discrete/repetitive manufacturing is a strong plus.

Skills & Knowledge

• Repetitive Manufacturing (REM) (Required): REM profiles, run schedules, backflushing, reporting point confirmations, product cost collectors, and REM period-end processing.
• Production Planning (PP): Material master, BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, MRP (including MRP Live in S/4HANA), demand management, and capacity planning.
• Materials Management (MM): Purchasing, release strategies, source determination, inventory management, subcontracting, consignment, stock transport orders, and Logistics Invoice Verification.
• Integration: PP/MM integration with Finance & Controlling (FI/CO), Sales & Distribution (SD), Quality Management (QM), and Warehouse Management (WM/EWM), plus interfaces to MES and shop floor systems.
• Business Acumen: Ability to turn plant and supply chain needs into clear functional requirements and specifications.
• Technical Depth: Comfortable working with ABAP developers on RICEF objects and reviewing existing custom code to decide how objects should be enhanced.
• Preferred: Kanban, MES integration, SAP Fiori apps, and S/4HANA simplifications for PP/MM.

Certifications

• SAP PP and/or MM certification (ECC or S/4HANA) preferred.
