Job summary

Bessemer Trust is seeking an Information Reporting Lead Analyst to join the Data & Tax Operations team in Port Reading, NJ. This role oversees nonresident alien withholding and Form 1042-S reporting, with secondary responsibility for domestic 1099 reporting.

You will apply deep 1042-S and tax knowledge to drive process improvements, automation, and data quality while ensuring regulatory compliance across cross‑functional partners.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years financial services operations experience with nonresident withholding and 1042-S reporting.
• Deep knowledge of 1042-S, FATCA withholding rules, and W-8 documentation validation.
• Experience with Form 1099 series reporting is a plus.
• Advanced Excel; SQL/VBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own year-end 1042-S reporting end-to-end ensuring IRS compliance.
• Serve as SME on FATCA withholding and W-8 documentation requirements.
• Support 1099 series reporting as a secondary responsibility.
• Lead reconciliations, data validation, issue resolution, and controls for accuracy.
