Job summary

Bessemer Trust is seeking an Information Reporting Lead Analyst to join the Data & Tax Operations team in Woodbridge, NJ. This role oversees nonresident alien withholding and 1042-S reporting, with secondary responsibility for domestic reporting across 1099s, 1099-R, and 5498.

The successful candidate will combine deep 1042-S expertise with a focus on automation, data quality, and regulatory compliance, while collaborating with technology and business partners to drive scalable tax reporting

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in financial services operations with 1042-S exposure.
• Strong knowledge of FATCA withholding, W-8 validation, and IRS reporting.
• Experience with Form 1099 reporting is a plus.
• Advanced Excel, with SQL and VBA familiarity.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own year-end Form 1042-S reporting end-to-end with compliance.
• Act as subject matter expert on FATCA withholding and W-8 docs.
• Support 1099 reporting as a secondary responsibility.
• Lead reconciliations, data validation, and issue resolution.
• Drive automation and process improvements using analytics and RPA.
• Guide on tax implications of corporate actions and client events.
• Collaborate across business, operations, technology, and external partners.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and strategic tax initiatives.
