Job summary

The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank is seeking a coordinator for 1031 Exchange transactions. You will manage template-driven documents, interact with exchangors and their advisors, and help ensure timely, compliant processing from start to finish.

You will track deadlines, maintain exchange files, and coordinate with Fidelity Bank Operations on fund movements, supporting final accounting and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two years relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Strong customer service skills needed for diverse clients and consultants.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate editing of template-driven production documents for 1031 Exchange transactions.
• Answer questions for exchangors and consultants; ensure compliance with IRC 1031 and related rules.
• Review files, enter data, bind brochures, and prepare final reports.
• Interact with clients and advisors to address questions on exchanges.
• Track exchange timelines and inform clients of deadlines.
• Maintain complete exchange files and liaise with bank operations for funds flow.
• Assist in final accounting of the exchange; perform other duties as needed.
