Qualifications

• Two years relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience as a real estate paralegal, escrow officer or in accounting or law preferred.
• Must provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
• Thorough knowledge of Windows-based software including Word, Exchange, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork and collaboration with the office staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, implements, and coordinates the editing of template-driven production documents for 1031 Exchange transactions.
• Understands the code and works with the Exchangor to ensure compliance with IRC §1031 and related regulations.
• Reviews files, enters data, binds brochures and reports, and prepares final reports.
• Interacts with potential clients and consultants to answer questions on exchanges.
• Tracks time-sensitive exchange processes and informs clients and advisors of deadlines.
• Maintains accurate exchange files with communications and documents.
• Coordinates inflows and outflows of Exchangor funds with Fidelity Bank Operations.
• Assists in the final accounting of the exchange.
• Other duties as assigned.
