Job summary

3Core Systems, Inc. in Wall Township, NJ is seeking an experienced Workday QA Test Analyst to coordinate testing across Finance, Payroll, Time Tracking and other Workday modules. This contract role focuses on detailed test planning, scheduling, and traceability, reporting readiness before deployment.

You will report to the Test Lead and work in a hybrid model onsite three days per week. 7+ years QA with Workday testing across Finance/Payroll/Time Tracking and experience with test management

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA experience across multiple Workday implementations including hands-on testing in Finance, Payroll, Time Tracking and other Workday modules.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end Workday business processes and integration testing across Finance, Payroll, Time Tracking, and other areas.
• Proven ability to coordinate detailed test plans and schedules, develop complete test scenarios and cases, assign testers, define data needs and expected results, and track execution through completion.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills for coordinating business and technical stakeholders, managing schedules, and reporting progress.

Responsibilities

• UAT and stakeholder coordination: plan and execute UAT testing with business testers, track completion, and coordinate with business, IT, PMO, and implementation teams.
• Test management: maintain test plans, cases, assignments, execution results, defects, evidence, dashboards, and traceability.
• Test reporting and readiness: assist in reporting on schedule, progress, coverage, defects, risks, and dependencies to secure sign-off and release readiness.

Role: Workday QA Test Analyst / Workday FIN/HCM Testing
Location: Hybrid (Needs to be onsite 3 days perweek near Wall Township, NJ)

Project Context

Client is implementingWorkday and is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Test Analyst tocoordinate testing primarily across Finance, Payroll, and Time Tracking and additional support as needed for other Workday modules such as Core HCM,Compensation, etc. The role will focus on detailed test planning andscheduling, ensuring test scenarios and cases are thoroughly documented withclear steps, assigned testers, test-data requirements, and expected results.This position will report to the Test Lead who will coordinate execution,manage defects and retesting, maintain traceability, and report progress andreadiness before deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• UAT and stakeholder coordination: Coordinate UATtest planning and execution with business testers, track completion, andpartner with business, IT, PMO, and implementation teams to maintainalignment and accountability.
  
• Test management tools: Use Azure DevOps tomaintain test plans, test cases, assignments, execution results, defects,evidence, dashboards, and requirements traceability.
  
• Test reporting and readiness: Support the TestLead in reporting on the schedule, execution progress, coverage, defects,risks, dependencies, and outstanding items to support business sign-offand release readiness.

• Test scenario and case documentation: Develop,review, and maintain end-to-end business process, integration,reconciliation, negative, regression, and UAT test scenarios and caseswith clear prerequisites, execution steps, test-data requirements, and expectedresults.
  
• Test planning and scheduling: Develop andmaintain the detailed test plan and schedule across Finance, Payroll, andTime Tracking, including test cycles, activities, dependencies,milestones, tester assignments, and completion criteria.
  

RequiredQualifications

• 7+ yearsof quality assurance experience supporting multiple Workdayimplementations including hands-on experience across Finance, Payroll,Time Tracking, Workforce Planning or Scheduling as well as otherareas.
  
• Strongknowledge of end-to-end Workday business process and integration testingacross Finance, Payroll, Time Tracking, Workforce Planning or Schedulingas well as other areas.
  
• Provenexperience coordinating detailed test plans and schedules, developingcomplete test scenarios and cases, assigning testers, defining test-dataneeds and expected results, and tracking execution through completion.
  
• Strongorganizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability tocoordinate business and technical stakeholders, manage detailed schedules,and communicate testing progress, risks, and results.
  
• Hands-onexperience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, ALM, Jira,QMetry, Xray, or qTest.
  

PreferredQualifications

• Energy or utility industry experience, preferablywithin a multi-state, unionized, or multi-pay-group environment.
  
• Experience testing Workday FinancialManagement, Payroll, and Time Tracking, including cross-functionalintegrations and downstream accounting impacts.
  
• Relevant credentials such as Certified SoftwareTester, ISTQB, Workday certification, or equivalent practical experience.
