Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a 100% traveling Equipment Foreman to oversee telecom construction crews and manage equipment and materials on projects. The role requires driving travel to multiple sites, ensuring safety and schedule adherence, and supporting the supervisor with daily tasks.

The position emphasizes leadership, hands-on equipment operation, and training of crew members while maintaining OSHA and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• For the role the candidate must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• A valid driver's license is required for site travel and equipment operation.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred.
• At least three years of related experience; Foreman experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment.
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed.
• Oversee and help with training of crew members.
• Help ensure everyone follows company safety policies, OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Maintain production notes and DOT paperwork.
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, perform maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
