Job summary

Actalent is hiring 100% remote pharmacy technicians to review prior authorizations for a department within a large healthcare insurance company. The role involves approving or denying authorizations and routing to pharmacists for final review, handling all health plans and medications, with minimal phone work.

The position is contract-to-hire, fully remote, and requires a quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office.

Qualifications

Hiring 100% Remote Pharmacy Technicians We are hiring 100% REMOTE pharmacy technician across time zones. As a pharmacy tech, you will be involved in reviewing prior authorizations for determination for a department that is part of a large healthcare insurance company. You will approve or deny authorizations and send some to pharmacist for final review. You will handle all health plans and types of medications. This role is fully computer- based with little to no phone work.

Shift: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 8 PM (8 hour shift) Remote role: Preferrably located at South or North Carolina/Arizona/Florida/Alabama

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
