Job summary

Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12. As a Math and Science Teacher, you’ll design creative lessons, shape your schedule, and collaborate with passionate colleagues at Fusion’s White Plains campus.

We seek educators with a bachelor's degree (teaching credential a plus) who can teach a broad range of science and math topics, including Biology, Physics, Calculus, Algebra, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability to teach a wide range of science and math courses; curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience with diverse learners, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and passion for social-emotional learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a personalized, 1-to-1 setting with one student at a time.
• Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs.
• Mentor students and support social-emotional growth.
• Build partnerships with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life.
