Job summary

Fusion Academy, a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 4–12, seeks a Math and Science Teacher. You’ll shape schedules, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues to personalize education—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities include differentiating instruction for grades 4–12, building parent partnerships, collaborating with staff, and maintaining accurate records while pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of science and math courses (Earth, Physical, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Earth Space, Anatomy & Physiology, Marine Biology, Zoology, Integrated, Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus). Curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
