Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12. As a Science Teacher, you’ll shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues.

We value mentoring, social‑emotional growth, and strong partnerships with families. You’ll adapt instruction across many science subjects and engage in ongoing professional development in a student-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of science courses (Earth, Physical, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Earth Space, Anatomy & Physiology, Marine Biology, Zoology).
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
• Florida residents require level 2 background screening.
