Responsibilities

• Assist certified staff to meet instructional goals and objectives.
• Assist students in reading, language arts, mathematics, and computer instruction.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist with record-keeping of student progress.
• Help with classroom preparations and reinforce instructional materials per student needs.
• Support behavior management to maintain a safe, orderly environment.
• Supervise non-instructional areas (lunch, bus, playground, study hall).
• Accompany students on field trips as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
