Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher required; high school diploma or equivalent accepted.
• Passing of the Parapro Assessment examination as required by state.
• Prior experience with children desirable; Ohio Educational Aide Permit required.
• Must communicate effectively, problem solve and work independently.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Educational Aide Permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified staff with students in the classroom to meet instructional goals.
• Support students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist with classroom preparations, materials and assessments.
• Supervise non-instructional areas and accompany students on field trips.
