Job summary

Evergreen Elementary-JBLM, part of Clover Park School District, seeks a Special Education 1:1 Para to support students with significant emotional/behavioral needs at JBLM. Duties include behavior management, instruction support, and student care (lifting/feedings).

Qualifications

• Two years of successful work experience with special education students.
• Education and certification requirements per district PESB/ParaPro/etc.

Responsibilities

• Assists students with hygiene, including lifting, toileting, feeding (G-tube as needed).
• Assist with transition activities and transportation.
• Support high‑risk students with behavioral management.
• Assist with IEP preparation and timelines under teacher direction.
• Prepare materials and assist with instruction under supervision.
• Maintain student records and assist with data entry and reports.
