Job summary

Clover Park School District Evergreen Elementary-J JBLM is seeking a paraeducator to support special education students under a classroom teacher’s direction. The role includes implementing educational activities, assisting with life skills tasks, and maintaining student records as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or higher
• Associate degree or higher or 72 quarter credits/48 semester credits
• Paraeducator apprenticeship accepted
• Experience with special education programs preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with IEP preparation and timelines.
• Support behavior management and instructional activities.
• Instruct students individually or in small groups under teacher direction.
• Provide basic care tasks and assist with medical interventions as trained.
