Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher required with relevant experience.
• Pass a thorough background check prior to employment.
• Preschool requirements include TB screen and food handler card.

Responsibilities

• Assist Special Education students in classrooms with instruction and one‑on‑one support.
• Assist with IEPs and small group sessions to meet learning objectives.
• Help develop lesson plans and prepare classroom materials.
• Supervise students and promote positive behavior and safety.
• Document issues and submit daily written reports; aid with clerical tasks.
• Maintain MIPS reporting as required by district guidelines.
• Assist with hygiene and self‑help skills as needed.
• Communicate with parents and staff while protecting confidentiality.
• Enforce district policies and report concerns to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
