Job summary

Building Connections Academy in Concord, CA is seeking a School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional to provide 1:1 behavioral and academic support to students with autism and other developmental differences. You’ll implement individualized programs, collect progress data, and help students build communication, social, and life skills in a supportive classroom.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required or willingness to obtain within 90 days
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s in related field preferred
• Reliable transportation with valid license and insurance
• Immunizations up to date as required by school policy

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral and educational support in a school setting.
• Implement individualized programs and collect data to track progress.
• Teach communication, social, play, and self‑help skills.
