Job summary

Building Connections Academy in Concord, CA is seeking a School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional to provide 1:1 behavioral and academic support to students with autism and other developmental differences. This in-person role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Compensation ranges from $22 to $28 per hour and includes paid training to obtain RBT certification. You will implement individualized programs, collect data, and help students develop communication, social, and life skills

Qualifications

• RBT certification (or willing to obtain within 90 days).
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral and educational support in a school setting.
• Implement individualized programs and collect data to track progress.
• Teach communication, social, play, and self-help skills.
• Encourage independence and build positive relationships with students.
• Maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment.
