Job summary

Building Connections Academy in Martinez, CA is seeking a School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional to provide 1:1 behavioral and academic support to students with autism and other developmental differences.

You’ll implement individualized programs, collect progress data, and teach communication, social, play, and self-help skills in a safe, engaging classroom.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
• RBT certification (or willing to obtain within 90 days).
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s in related field preferred).
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Required immunizations including MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hep B, and TB clearance within 4 years.
