Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver individualized student care within a school setting in Waltham, MA. The role involves implementing the nursing process per physician orders and district policies, under a contract for part-time hours.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, has school nursing (and preferably pediatric) experience, and maintains current CPR, health certificates, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in applicable states.
• One year of school nursing experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Maintains CPR certification if applicable.
• Completes TB screening (PPD or chest x-ray) if applicable.
• Keeps health certificate current as required.
• Meets all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing process implementation and deliver individualized student care.
• Ensure services align with physician orders and district/ Amergis policies.
