Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) for the Aurora, IL area. This contract-part-time role focuses on delivering individualized student care within a school environment under physician orders.

The RN will work 25 hours per week at a pay rate of $45 per hour. Licensure, school nursing experience preferred, CPR as applicable, and compliance with regulatory standards are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing.
• One year of school nursing experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing process and deliver individualized student care within the school setting.
• Ensure services are provided per physician orders and school/district policies, Amergis standards.
• Coordinate health tasks and maintain student health records in accordance with regulations.
