A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or a highly experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) near Waltham, MA. This full-time role runs ASAP through June 2027, with the potential for summer school extension. Hours are Monday through Friday, 3237.5 hours per week, serving an elementary caseload.

The immediate focus will be dedicated, one-on-one nursing support for a 3-year-old student with a complex medical history. The students needs include seizure management (multifocal epilepsy with myoclonic and tonic seizures), medication administration (Keppra and Onfi), and ongoing monitoring due to a history of severe neonatal HIE, cortical injury, and stabilized subdural hematomas. You will play a vital role in ensuring safety and providing compassionate care throughout the school day.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active RN license or a highly seasoned LPN with strong pediatric experience
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric clinical settings preferred
• Proficient in emergency response for seizures and neurological care
• Ability to communicate clearly with families, healthcare providers, and school staff
• Commitment to maintaining accurate health documentation and individualized care plans
• Reliable, compassionate, and comfortable working independently
