School Registered Nurse

Soliant Education is hiring an onsite School Registered Nurse for an education industry contract position during the 2026-2027 school year near Farmington, CT. This role will support a middle school student in a 1:1 setting from October 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:40 am to 2:30 pm.

Position Overview

The nurse will provide daily individualized health support for a student with diabetes. Responsibilities include assisting with monitoring, helping maintain student safety, and following the care plan established by the school district. This position is ideal for a compassionate RN who is comfortable working closely with students, families, and school staff.

Responsibilities

The selected nurse will deliver direct care throughout the school day and respond appropriately to the student’s health needs. Duties may include diabetes monitoring support, documentation, communication with the school team, and maintaining a safe learning environment. The RN will also follow district procedures and ensure care is provided in a professional and consistent manner.

Requirements

Applicants must hold an active Registered Nurse license in Connecticut and have current BLS/CPR certification. Prior school-based nursing, pediatric, or diabetes care experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should be dependable, attentive, and comfortable supporting a student in a 1:1 educational setting.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.50 to $47.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

This is a contract position for the full 2026-2027 school year.
