AB Staffing Solutions is seeking a licensed RN to provide one-on-one health support in a Hillside, IL school setting. The role focuses on delivering personal medical care, administering medications, and coordinating with families and school staff to ensure student well-being.

The position requires CPR/BLS certification and prior pediatric or school nursing experience, with the ability to stand for long periods and manage medical emergencies in a school environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Illinois.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Prior professional nursing experience, preferably in school or pediatric nursing.

Responsabilités

• Provide one-on-one nursing support to a student with significant medical and developmental needs.
• Work directly with the family of student in need of 1:1 nursing care to administer personal medical care, including transportation, and any school medications.
• Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify health concerns and provide appropriate interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.
• Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics, including illness prevention, nutrition, and hygiene.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address health concerns and promote a healthy school environment.
• Stay up to date on current nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines related to school health services.

Contract Details:

• Location(s): Hillside, IL.
• Contract follows the academic district calendar - Full-Time.

Salary:

• $40 - $45 per Hour.
• $1,200 - $1,350 per Week.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Illinois.
• Current First Aid or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR/BLS) certification.
• Prior professional nursing experience, preferably in school and/or pediatric nursing..
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.
