Zusammenfassung

RSU 12, Sheepscot Valley is seeking a dedicated RN to provide 1:1 nursing support for a student at Somerville Elementary School. This full-time position emphasizes safe, attentive, and individualized care within a collaborative school community.

The ideal candidate has a current RN license, Maine CHRC approval, experience with children, and strong communication to coordinate with teachers, families, and other care team members.

Qualifikationen

Current RN license required.
CHRC approval from Maine DOE required.

Aufgaben

Provide individualized 1:1 nursing care and monitoring throughout the school day.
Monitor and respond to seizure activity and other medical needs.
Monitor environmental factors affecting health and safety.
Monitor and facilitate feeding as needed.
Maintain a safe, supportive environment for the student.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, families and care team.
Communicate health-related information clearly to stakeholders.
Follow medical care plans, school protocols and nursing standards.
