Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) in Somerville, ME to oversee the nursing process and deliver individualized student care in a school setting.

The role is a contract-full-time position paying $45 per hour, with 35 hours per week and compliance with district and Amergis policies. Applicants should meet RN licensure requirements and have school nursing experience or pediatrics as preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing.
• One year of school nursing experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• CPR certification current if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the implementation of the nursing process and delivering individualized student care within the school environment.
• Ensure services are provided in alignment with physician orders and in accordance with the standards, policies, and philosophy of both the School District and Amergis Healthcare.
